FC Holden Special Wagon: I swear this FC restoration is better than new. I really dig those venetian blinds in the rear windows. Every car should have venetian blinds…If I ever own a Ferrari, it’s gonna be fitted with venetian blinds. Captured at the Go Pink for Princess car show.
The Holden Car Club of WA held its Show & Shine Day at Stirling Square Guildford on 2 October 2011. A good selection of Holdens from the 1950’s models to the late 1970’s were on show from FJ’s to Kingswoods and Monaro’s.
The venue was shared with the All Austin Day, which I mentioned in the previous post as being clever thinking on part of both clubs.
The members of the Holden Car Club appear to have an emphasis on older, restored and original models rather than modified. I also noted an absence of early model of Commodores, not sure why this as I thought VB, VC and VH models would certainly be applicable and considering they are becoming rarer these days.
A great show by the Holden Club otherwise…
