Bufori V6i Convertible: It’s my first Bufori I’ve shot in the wild and research tells me this attractive little sports car is a hand built retro styled automobile made in Malaysia by an Australian owned company. It’s got a Buick V6 engine (similar to the one in the Holden Commodore I’m guessing) and host of other off the shelf parts. The company produces around 300 cars per year like this. Who needs big car manufacturers when cars like this are made. Roll on small car manufacturing!
Ford Mustang Convertible: I just love these early model Mustangs…and even more interesting when it’s a convertible when original left hand drive. Giddy up pony.
1965 Chevy Impala Convertible: I was quite excited about shooting this red ’65 Impala… and being a rarer style convertible that was a bonus. Looks likes it’s got the 327 V8. Ohhh yeah..love it.
Mercedes 450SL Convertible: Despite its age, it’s still an attractive car. Sort of like Elizabeth Taylor (was).
1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible: An imported US model, with left hand drive and 6 cylinder engine. Interesting to compare these to the Aussie versions . I love those wheels, sort of Thunderbird like.
1965 Mustang GT Convertible: A beatifully restored 65 ‘Stang. A great find.
VH Valiant V8 Convertible: It started life as a 2 door hardtop and has been modified into a convertible (factory convertibles were never made as far as I know)..but somehow I think the original hardtop looks better.
A great little Ford Capri XR2 convertible I caught recently. These cars were built by Ford Australia, but based on the Mazda 323 mechanicals. Manufactured between 1989 – 1994.
