Valiant VG Regal: I was pleased to find and shoot this VG Valiant Regal recently. Just a humble 245 2bbl 6 cylinder… but not often seen on the streets now days. Certainly is in excellent condition. I love it.
1966 Ford Mustang. Still running wild.
1966 Ford Mustang: What the world needs are more cars like this…This is an imported Mustang direct from the USA. It was landed in Adelaide, but the current owner has brought it home to live in Perth. Original left hand drive and just look how sparse the interior is, but that’s how they were. Engine is a 289ci V8 with 2 barrel carb.
Bufori V6i Convertible. Small car manufacturer kicks ass!
Bufori V6i Convertible: It’s my first Bufori I’ve shot in the wild and research tells me this attractive little sports car is a hand built retro styled automobile made in Malaysia by an Australian owned company. It’s got a Buick V6 engine (similar to the one in the Holden Commodore I’m guessing) and host of other off the shelf parts. The company produces around 300 cars per year like this. Who needs big car manufacturers when cars like this are made. Roll on small car manufacturing!
Mercedes 240D. Diesel Benz unstoppable.
Subaru Sherpa. Little wheels keep on rollin’.
Subaru Sherpa: These tiny cars made by Subaru were often seen on the road in the 1980’s. Not as cute at the famous Suzuki Mighty Boy, but people still loved them. With only 2 cylinders of power they were cheap to run, maintain and license…this is the reason they were an unlikely hit with new car buyers… until they fell apart from over use. Good to see this white Sherpa still on the road and going strong.
