1966 Volvo 122: Old Volvo’s never die, they just goto Volvo Valhalla…But some, such as this red 122 sedan refuse to retire and continue to soldier on. Oh what a totally awesome car to spot!
Volvo 244GL: Well maybe not…. Old Volvo’s like this 244 seem to keep going and going. A testament to how well built they were and how tough they are.
Volvo 240GL: Whilst many old Volvo’s have gone to Volvo heaven, Valhalla, this fine blue 240GL is going to be spending many more years on earthly roads due to its loving owner.
Volvo 245GL Wagon: A place where old Volvo’s can roam free and wild and not be preyed upon by evil authorities. Surely this is Volvo Vahalla.
Volvo 144: God knows to what lengths I goto to photograph these old cars sometimes. This early 1970’s Volvo 144 is a classic and giving good service for it owners, so much so they still take it to the weekend market. I think this proves old cars are tougher than new cars!
Volvo 1800ES: A later model version of the sporty 1800 Volvo’s series. This one is the 3 door coupe estate type with the back hatch and is in exceptional condition for a car that is a little over 40 years old. Caught and shot in Perth.
Volvo 122: This old Volvo 122 looks to have been lovingly restored by its owner. I’ve noted quite a few older Volvo’s (esp 240 series) getting around here. Volvo salesmen were obviously working overtime for a few decades pushing the advanced safety features of it cars…and Malaysians bought them. Caught and shot in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
Volvo 240 GLE: Two colours are better than one. Works well on this Volvo 240.
Volvo 144: It’s currently being used as a loan car, but in it’s spare time, it competes as classic race car…hence the fat tyres and slightly lowered suspension. Interesting name.
Volvo 240GLE: It’s Volvo time again. I’m sucker for an old Volvo every time. Behold the mighty 240GLE!
