Porsche Club Concours D’Elegance 2011
The Porsche Club of Western Australia held its annual Concours D’Elegance at Sir James Mitchell Park South Perth on November 27 2011.
There was great range of vehicles on display and some interesting models from the 1950’s which are rarely seen. As usual, the 911 models dominated the display but I was surprised to learn how many variations there were to this classic long running model. Early model 911’s were relatively uncomplicated compared to later models, though the body shape remained much the same for many years.
Location for the event was was chosen. For exhibitors and spectators, South Perth is centrally located and parking was easy for spectators. Facilities such as food, drink and toilets were available close by.
Overall a good show, hope to see it again in 2012.
