Mercedes 300D: Diesel Mercedes in Australia are rarer than their petrol powered counterparts, but in other parts of the world (Europe and Middle East) diesel Mercedes 300D’s like this one are more widespread and are often used as taxi’s due to their low running cost and high reliability. The 5 cylinder Mercedes diesel engine is apparently one the most reliable diesel engine’s ever produced for a passenger vehicle.

Mercedes 280SE: Looks like it’s been in the family for the past 30 years and now has been handed down to the son who doesn’t appreciate the precise German engineering of the 1970’s. Ahh who knows? Pity about that lost wheel cover otherwise it’s still in good condition. Caught and shot in SS2, Petaling Jaya (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

Mercedes 280S: I caught and shot this Mercedes 280S in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. Looks like it’s been restored and maintained to original condition. A collectors item now. Very nice indeed.
