Black Mustang 289 California Special: One of the rarer Mustangs issued for the California market in the 1960’s by Ford of which only 4118 were made. Contains a host of extras over the standard Mustang. Check the Wikipedia entry Mustang California Special. A pretty cool Mustang to have indeed.
Ford XK Falcon: This is the very first series of Falcons to be made in Australia and are now a rare sight on our roads. Looks an awesome stylish vehicle for the times, better than the equivalent Holden I think. Bravo!
Ford Falcon XL Sedan: An Australian motoring classic from the 1960’s. Still an attractive car even after all these years, this XL Falcon has miraculously survived 50 years. Nice to see this one still going.
Ford XB Falcon 500: With 1970’s Falcon’s becoming rather rare, it was a pleasure to shoot this light blue XB Falcon. Condition is original and is an awesome example of a standard XB Falcon with 250ci 6 cylinder engine..
Ford XP Fairmont: A great example of automotive origin of species. In this case the Ford Falcon or the more luxurious Fairmont as caught and shot here. Thankgod someone has saved this car for all to see.
1966 Ford Mustang: What the world needs are more cars like this…This is an imported Mustang direct from the USA. It was landed in Adelaide, but the current owner has brought it home to live in Perth. Original left hand drive and just look how sparse the interior is, but that’s how they were. Engine is a 289ci V8 with 2 barrel carb.
Ford Mustang Convertible: I just love these early model Mustangs…and even more interesting when it’s a convertible when original left hand drive. Giddy up pony.
Ford Cortina TC Wagon: I haven’t seen a TC Cortina for ages and it was pleasing to take these photos of the orange TC wagon I spotted. Happy days!
Ford KB Laser Ghia 1.5: Credit due for this older model Ford Laser with an age of around 30 years, it’s still going strong. Not many left of these older Lasers these days.
Ford Escort Mk II Panel Van: Whilst shooting this Escort panel van, the owner informed me of the sad news that only 80 or so Escorts are still registered in Western Australia. Looks like they’ve had a high attrition rate.
