FIAT 2000 Spider: Regular FIAT 124 Sport coupes occasionally can still be seen around. However, the convertible Spider version is a lot rarer. I was so glad to get a shot of this awesome black 2000 Spider.

1969 FIAT 850
1969 FIAT 850 Sedan: One of the smaller FIAT models from the late 60’s. I can’t help thinking how much better the Italian cars were, when compared to similar British vehicles such as the Minis and Morris’s. Not many of these were imported into Australia.

Fiat Lancia Day 2011
The Fiat Lancia Club of WA held its annual Fiat Lancia Day 2011 on 27 November Sunday at the Perth Cultural Centre, Northbridge. There was an amazing turn out of around 70 cars making this one of the best displays for the club.
The location was fabulous, and I think this is an improvement over previous years venues of the parks in Burswood. Certainly this location attracted a greater number of onlookers and those passing by from the nearby art gallery and state library. Congratulation to the club on such great show this year.
Being centrally located, all facilities such as toilets and shops were close by. Parking and access to the event was also good, Sunday morning being fairly quiet in the city.
There was good range cars on display, from the vintage Lancia Lambda and Fiat 501 to modern vehicles. The most interesting for me was the those from the 1970’s especially the Fiat 124 Sport, my favourite model (actually many people’s favourite so it seems).
