1929 Triumph Super 7 Imp Vintage Racing Car

1929 Triumph Super 7 Imp Number 28
1929 Triumph Super 7 Imp: Our roving freelance photographers miss nothing! A restored 1929 Triumph Super 7 Imp as driven by Eric Armstrong, a historic racing car number 28.  A few intersting things: The upholstery seems to be on outside of the car, so hopefully the owner doesn’t have a cat. The adjustable front suspension settings are intriguing, Andre, Hartford, but the setting I like the most is Shock. I want to try that setting, please. This Triumph is apparently on display at the Whiteman Park Motor Museum…but today it’s on display here.

  1. Hi there<
I just noticed my Triumph Super 7 on your web page. Interesting where you found my car? it may have been in Vic Park?
This Triumph Super 7 is a replica of the car Eric Armstrong drove in the late 20's and early 30's. The original was supercharged and had at one stage the fastest lap record at Claremont Speedway and won the First WA Grand Prix. I have collected all the history of the Armstrong Cycle and Motor Agency that was one of the leading Motor Cycle and Car importers in Perth up until the late 30's. Thanks for your interest in my car. • Hi Nigel, Yes correct, I spotted it on Albany highway Vic Park and took the photos. Great little car…everyone going past was looking at it.
