The Austin Motor Vehicle Club of WA held its ‘All Austin Day’ at Stirling Square Guildford on the 2 October 2011. There was a good turnout of Austin motor vehicles from very early models to the later Leyland varity.
The event location was shared with the Holden Car Club Display Day, which was clever thinking on part of the organisers of both clubs, as this seemed to attract quite a bit of interest in the event as a whole. Certainly members of both clubs were taking a keen interest in each other cars.
The Stirling Square location was a good a selection of venue, although not particularly central, it does provide plenty of easy parking for spectators and facilities such as toilets and food is close by. It’s also a highly visible location, no doubt many people passing by stopped to see both car displays.
Overall, an excellent display.

Austin 1800 Mark 1. Front wheel drive, 1800cc 4 cylinder ‘B’ series engine. Hydrolastic fluid suspension.
